Solid Plastering
Traditional solid plaster for walls and ceilings, finished smooth and ready for paint.
Solid Plastering by ERA Construction Group
Solid plastering is applied wet, in coats, directly to brick, block or board. It gives a harder, more sound-resistant wall than plasterboard alone and is the right choice for period homes, wet areas and anywhere a flat, durable finish is wanted.
We apply scratch, float and set coats to walls and ceilings, patch and repair existing plaster, and prepare surfaces so your painter can start immediately.
What’s included
- Internal walls and ceilings
- Cement render base coats
- Set and skim finishes
- Patching and repairs
- Period home restoration
- Wet-area plastering
Common questions
Plasterboard is a sheet product fixed to the frame. Solid plaster is applied wet in coats to masonry or board and dries to a harder, seamless surface.
Set plaster normally needs one to two weeks to cure before painting, depending on weather and thickness.
